Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

1. Agreement and services

These terms apply to services provided by Rule Webs. A signed proposal, statement of work or invoice may add project-specific terms; if terms conflict, the signed project document controls for that engagement.

2. Scope and changes

Deliverables, assumptions, price, milestones and client responsibilities are defined in the written scope. Features or revisions outside it require written approval and may change price and schedule. Estimates are not fixed offers until confirmed in a proposal or invoice.

3. Payment terms

Invoices are due by the stated due date and in the stated currency. Work may pause for overdue amounts. Third-party, recurring and renewal charges are identified separately where applicable. Payment confirmation is subject to successful capture by the payment provider.

4. Client responsibilities

You will provide timely decisions, accurate content, lawful materials, required account access and approvals. Delays in these dependencies may move delivery dates. You remain responsible for reviewing and accepting work against the agreed scope.

5. Intellectual property

After full payment, rights in client-specific deliverables transfer as stated in the project agreement. Rule Webs and third parties retain ownership of pre-existing tools, reusable components, open-source software and licensed materials, which are provided under their applicable licenses. We will not publish confidential client work without permission.

6. Warranties and liability

We will perform services with reasonable care and skill. Except as expressly stated in the project agreement, services and estimates are provided without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, specific commercial results, search ranking or compatibility with third-party changes. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss; liability limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Either party may request termination in writing. Approved work completed and committed costs remain payable. Custom development and digital deliverables are non-refundable after work starts, subject to rights that cannot be waived by law. See the No-Refund Policy.

8. Confidentiality and data

Each party will use the other's non-public project information only to perform or receive the services and take reasonable steps to protect it. Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law and contact

Applicable law and dispute venue will be stated in the project agreement; where it is silent, the laws of India apply, subject to mandatory protections in the client's jurisdiction.
