Custom software development, digital services and made-to-order digital assets are non-refundable once work has started. By approving a proposal, milestone, invoice or payment link, you authorize Rule Webs to reserve project capacity and begin the described work.
Non-refundable work and costs
- Advance payments, deposits, booked development time, completed milestones, discovery, design, implementation, integrations and delivered source files are non-refundable.
- Custom websites, software, SaaS features, templates, graphics, documents and other digital assets are made to the agreed brief and cannot be returned after work begins or a deliverable is made available.
- Third-party charges, including domains, hosting, licenses, payment processing, cloud services and external APIs, are non-refundable and remain subject to the third party's terms.
- Monthly maintenance or hosting already delivered for a billing period is not refundable. Future periods may be cancelled in writing before their next renewal date.
Scope changes and cancellation
You may request cancellation or a scope change in writing. You remain responsible for approved work completed, committed third-party charges and non-cancellable costs up to the effective cancellation date. We will confirm any remaining balance in writing; cancellation does not automatically create a refund.
Exceptions required by law
This policy does not limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you believe a payment was duplicated, unauthorized, charged incorrectly, or a contracted service was not supplied, contact us promptly with the invoice number and relevant details. Any remedy will be assessed under the applicable agreement and law.
